Foodful “the smoked one” on crispy parsnip rösti

The recipe makes approx. 20 pieces

300 g FOODFUL “THE SMOKED ONE”

Rösti
500 grams coarsely shredded potato’s
500 grams coarsely shredded parsnips
2 eggs (Or 2 flax eggs)
Butter or oil for frying
Salt & pepper
Graded nutmeg
Finely chopped dill

Lemon sauce
250 gr of sour cream 38 %,
The juice and zest from 1 organic lemon
Salt & pepper

  1. Peel and shred the vegetables.
  2. Wring the moisture out of the shredded vegetables in a dish towel.
  3. Mix it with the remaining ingredients and fry them on a pan in oil or butter. The Rösti have to be crisp on the outside and soft inside.
  4. Make the lemon sauce by mixing all the ingredients together.
  5. Serve the Rösti with a slice of FOODFUL “THE SMOKED ONE”, a spoon of lemon sauce, and fresh dill on top.
